In this project the forecourt canopy of a petrol station in Fosse Park, Leicester needed to be raised to allow better access for heavy goods vehicles and to prevent further damage to the facia of the canopy. With careful planning six cranes being controlled simultaneously were used to raise the entire forecourt canopy and hold it while extensions for the stanchions were bolted in place before the canopy was lowered back in to place.
